Nova Scotia Experience: Express Entry

⭕️ Applying for one of the provincial programs can be a very good alternative to the federal programs.
⭕️ Because many applicants do not qualify for federal programs. But with a little thought, you can take a smart step and obtain residency through one of the Canadian provinces.
⭕️ We have already explained that acting through provincial workforce programs is not an easier choice than the federal one. Rather, it requires special conditions that if the applicant has, the conditions for obtaining permanent residence will be easier for him.

💢 Nova Scotia’s Express Entry program can be considered a suitable path for those who intend to study in Canada or obtain their residence with a work visa.

💯 General conditions of this program:

1- Age between 21 and 55 years
2- Having one year of work experience in this province in one of the NOCs 0 A B in the last three years
3- Having at least a diploma
4- Having a language certificate with the following conditions:
CLB 7 for NOC 0 or A
CLB 5 for NOC B
5- Having an express entry profile

⁉️ But a few important points:

🟣 Self-employed work history is not acceptable.
🟣 If your work experience is part-time, you must show two years of experience, which must reach 1560 hours in total.
🟣 Work experience during student, co-op, voluntary work and unpaid work is not acceptable.
🟣 As with all provincial programs, you must be able to demonstrate your willingness to work and live in this province.

🔴 But this program is notable for two groups:

🧑‍🎓 Graduates of Canadian universities or colleges who have obtained work permits after graduation.
👨‍💼 The spouse of a student who entered Canada with a work visa from the beginning and can have one year of work experience in this province.

🟧 Unfortunately, due to the lack of familiarity of the applicants with the provincial expert programs, most of these provinces are not selected for study or work. In case, you can get residency by having only one year of work experience in the province of Nova Scotia.
